Teacher in Year 6 with TLR 2

St Peter’s is a high-achieving school that takes great pride in both the academic progress and personal development of all our pupils. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to continue this journey of excellence, working with a Year 6 class full of eager and motivated learners.

This vacancy has arisen due to our current Year 6 teacher gaining promotion to a senior leadership role at another school. We are looking to appoint a highly skilled professional who can contribute to the continued success and rapid improvement of St Peter’s. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding classroom practice and have a proven track record of raising standards and securing excellent outcomes for pupils.

As this post has a TLR in English attached, we are particularly interested in candidates who bring strong subject leadership qualities and can show clear evidence of sustained and positive impact in their current role.  As a key member of our teaching team, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning experience for our pupils and preparing them for a successful transition to secondary school.

While this role is focused on Year 6, we are also looking for someone who can contribute to the wider school community by supporting the development of teaching and learning across all year groups, from Reception to Year 6.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please email stpeter@sthelens.org.uk to arrange a visit or to request further information.
