Pupil Leadership

At St. Peter’s, we believe in empowering our pupils by giving them the opportunity to take an active role in the decisions that shape their learning and school environment. Pupil leadership is rooted in the idea that children have valuable perspectives on the issues that matter in the classroom, within the school, and in the wider community.

Every pupil at St. Peter’s, from Year 1 onward, is given the opportunity to contribute to the life of the school through our Pupil Leadership teams. These teams allow pupils to make a meaningful difference in their school community every day.

When you visit our school, keep an eye out for pupils proudly wearing their Pupil Leader badges and ask them about the role they play in shaping our vibrant school community!

As Head Girl and Deputy Head Girl, we will make sure that we are great role models for our younger pupils and will set a good example to all. We believe that with hard work, we can all achieve our goals inside and outside of school. As a team at St Peter's , we are even stronger! We want all pupils to feel that their ideas and opinions are listened to by us. This makes our pupils feel valued and HAPPY! Happy pupils believe in our school values of Hope, Trust, Love and Faith. We have loved every minute of St Peter’s and we hope can make our amazing school even better.

Firstly, we are very thankful that to have been chosen for the role of St Peter’s Head Boy and Deputy Head Boy. The example of previous Head Boys and Girls have inspired us to try to be the best we can. Our hope is that we can help other pupils in their learning as well as supporting them emotionally. We intend to do this by setting an example with my work and listening to others and if I see anyone struggling, We will do our best to help them. With our participation on the school council, we hope we can help to make the school an even better place to learn, Upholding the standards of the school will be a priority as well as respecting our teachers and peers.
