As a Church School, firmly rooted in the teachings, values and spiritual life of the Church of England, we aim for all children to be successful, independent learners and effective decision makers. We value the individual and are committed to inclusive education, equal opportunities, respect and value for all. In partnership with governors, parents and the local community we strive to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum that promotes high achievement for all children, developing within the individual self confidence, motivation, aspiration and the ability to work with others.
We ensure children are kept safe at all times and that our safeguarding and child protection procedures follow government guidelines. For your child to be successful at school, it is essential that there is a partnership between the home and school. This Home-School agreement is designed to help everyone to understand their part in this partnership. It is not a legal document, but a document that clearly outlines what is expected of each party. Children are asked to sign the agreement when they enter into Year 3 as we feel this is an appropriate age for them to take responsibility for their own behaviour and actions.
