Welcome to Year 6's class page! 

Please keep an eye out for any notices and resources. 

We are currently reading Manfish- A story of Jacques Cousteau by Jennifer Berne, and Great Explorers by Alastair Humphreys.     

Notices

Spelling tests will be on Friday afternoons- please see the Spelling Overview (below as a downloadable link). 

Your child should have brought home a library book. Please encourage him/her to read daily and update their reading records as they do. It would be great if you could hear your child read as well as encouraging him/her to read independently. 

Homework will alternate between Century Tech and the 10-minute test booklets that your child brings home, and will be set on Fridays. Please encourage your child to do their homework either at the weekend, or early in the week so that we have time to remedy any issues or confusion before it is due in the following Friday.

P.E. will be on Thursday afternoons; we're developing our athletics skills this half term!
