Week 6 (1.6.20)

Hi Year 2,

I hope you have had a lovely half term break and been outside enjoying the sunny weather with your family. I know I have! Let's get stuck in to our final term of learning before you are big Year 3s!

Yesterday was the Christian festival of Pentecost, so we will start by learning about origins of this importatnt time in the Christian calendar.

This half term, in Maths, we will be returning to some areas to revise our understanding. This week, will be all about number bonds to 100.

We will start our new Geography topic - learning about the continent of Africa and more specifically the country of Kenya.

In English, we will be using information, stories and video clips that link to our topic. I have also set the termly spellings for you to practise at home and test whenever suits your family the best.
