Week 11 (6.7.20)

Hi Year 2,

Well it is our penultimate week of Year 2 and home learning. I am looking forward to seeing some of you on Monday (albeit at a distance as I'm part of a different 'bubble'!)

In Maths, this week we will be continuing our work on Measures and starting some revision on telling the time.

In English, as well as your spelling and SPAG work, I would like you to have a go at creating a Well Being Journal using the uploaded worksheets or creating your own! If reading has taken a bit of a back seat since school closure, please try and get back into the habbit this week. Use  https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/ if you have run out of suitable reading matter in the house.

This week, I'd also  like to answer the question 'Why is Exercise Important?'

For our R.E. work, find out about different places of worship and in particular Churches. We have arranged for St.Peter's Church to be open on Friday 10th July between 10am and 12.  Myself and Reverend Stephen will be around to chat to from a  safe distance. Why not come along to look for the parts of the church mentioned in the power point and worksheet?

Stay safe and have fun!
